Day 6 of Diane’s 30 Day Challenge!

No video today but you get to learn a little bit about the Artist and get to see the finished piece of artwork!

Diane Fifer is a professional artist and is the Owner/President of Art Dwellers. She has taught art to Middle School and High School Students for the past seven years. Through this teaching experience she has an understanding that anyone can create art with a little instruction. She also has been President/Director of Friendswood Fine Arts for three years until she recently resigned in 2012 to start Art Dwellers.

Diane loves teaching and creating art, but more importantly loves to help other artists succeed in their artistic endeavors. Her goal is also to bring art to the community so that individuals have an opportunity to immerse themselves in the beauty that art has to offer. It is important to her that Art Dwellers offers artists venues to showcase and sell their works which they do by hosting art shows, juried art competitions and art festivals. To encourage children to do and appreciate art it is important for Diane that Art Dwellers also offers Summer Art Camps, and school field trips. Then just to add to the mix, Diane sews and sells girls clothing, and hosts Art Parties for adults that has turned out to be a whole lot of fun.

Here is her 24X30 rhino with acrylic on canvas!
