“Architecturally Speaking” A show celebrating the ideas of design, buildings, open areas, communities, construction and other environments!
Eligibility: Open to any 2D or 3D artist/photographer – work must be submitted no later than midnight on December 31st, 2017 to be eligible.
Artists may enter up to four works of two-dimensional art: dry or wet mediums, 3D works. All artwork must be submitted via email to email@example.com. The final selections must be delivered to the gallery by January 7th, 2018 and displayed for the entire exhibition period.
1 Have been created in the last 3 years.
2 Be original work of the artist, who physically integrates/manipulates every component of the original concept and design.
3 Be installation ready, with mat, finished edges, cabled /wired frame (NO SAWTOOTH HANGERS OR HOOKS), glass or plexiglass, and hanging device in place where appropriate.
4 Must be able to be carried and/or hung easily by two people.
5 All work submitted must be for sale. If accepted to be hung at Affaire d’Art there is a $15 entry fee per piece and 25% commission on all artwork sold.
6 Adhere to the above criteria and the published dates and times. Works that do not meet these criteria will not be hung, even if inadvertently accepted into the show. If unable to make a scheduled pick up time, artists must arrange for someone to get the work and inform the gallery, or works become property of Affaire d’Art. Open to any 2D or 3D artist.
Entry format is via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. All images must be digital format. Please follow the instructions carefully regarding the preparation of your images. If you are unsure of how to format your images, please contact Affaire d’Art for assistance.
1 Only jpeg image files will be accepted.
2 Image files must be named as follows: Lastname_FirstInitial_Titleofartwork.jpeg
How to Apply:
Each artist may submit 4 artworks for review. Only 1 image per piece of artwork is allowed.
Application Fee is $5 total. If accepted, there is a $15 entry fee per piece accepted and 25% commission.

If accepted into the show, submission fees may also be paid via PayPal (or by other special arrangements) no later than 24 hours after notification of acceptance.
December 31st – Submission Deadline.
January 2nd – Email notification of submissions to be displayed at the gallery.
January 5th – 7th – Artist drop off artwork to the gallery from 12 to 6pm.
January 13th to February 16th – Work to be displayed at Affaire d’Art-Fine Art Gallery. Work will be up during the January ArtWalk
January 13th – ArtWalk 5-10pm.
February 16th – 18th – Artist will pick up any unsold artwork 12 – 6pm or by appointment.
